The ED is adorable, but the show is... Cartoon Network levels of terrible comedy. During the bad years.

kitemay • 2 months ago

CN had good years? o.o'

KrondaliX • 1 year ago

Even Amy and Yumi were better than that... f*k the 2k years...

Pandorable King. • 2 years ago

Its the same as the manhua

SenicAsianRoute • 2 years ago

If this is as you say the same as the lowest form of Nickelodeon then your gonna hate like all comedies from Japan and China if someone says this has no comedy but Iruma-Kun is god tier then that's just funny :3

anasaki kito • 2 years ago

nice

stealthy one • 2 years ago

might actually be funny if it wasn't basically a show that tries to conflate humor with homo pedophilia in almost every scene. should not exist

Sukehiro Yami • 2 years ago

China needs some improvement. honestly unless it's Korea, I don't see anyone other than Japan having good anime for a while.

Youkyu • 2 years ago

so what about Link Click, White Cat Legend, Scissor Seven, Fog Hill of Five Elements, King's Avatar, All Saint Street, Non-Human, Spare Me Great Lord, Legend of Hei, and Daily Life of the Immortal King

Sukehiro Yami • 2 years ago

King's avatar is said to be decent but I generally don't like gaming anime.

And watched scissor 7... Dubbed

On Netflix at that ._. you think anyone would bother with that shit subbed dude? I mean Don't get me. Wrong, there are good Chinese anime. And I never said there weren't any at all.

I just don't think they're ever going to be reaching anime levels of mainstream, anytime soon

And I understand that you are a fan of Chinese animation, but you have to face the fact that no, none of those anime are considered on that level

Just because a media is good doesn't mean that it's equal to another, period. And I'm not expecting them to make some kind of demon slayer, or one piece. they just need a decent anime that's good enough to make their haters, and those with skepticism to take interest.. and they wouldn't have me coming here :/ I'm not bashing it though, like other people do around here.

I watched all of scissor 7, and I was impressed. that's not something even half of the anime community cares for or agrees with.

And everyone needs to stop with the CGI in general. That will always be a popular anime opinion on matter what they make, AOT being a prime example.

Youkyu • 2 years ago

also no. Land of the Lustrous and Beastar speaks otherwise on the CGI matter. Heck look at Arcane

Sukehiro Yami • 2 years ago

Again arcane isn't an anime. Which is pretty much obvious based on more than a few choices, such as it being dubbed only ._. it also isn't on mal, which only adds official anime to the point where it's annoying..

Arcane also ._. is better than most Chinese anime... So that actually makes things a little worse in your favor here. Also note that arcane took a lot of years to make. Chinese anime gets released almost daily at this point, with 100's of episodes. They also have the money to do so, including only having few episodes to animate compared to the Chinese, who have anime projects all over the place.

The funny thing is I'm 100% sure of this... Due to racism and bias, or general fear, Chinese animation will never be popularized the way japanese anime is.

You understand that most of Asia... Hates china, right? It would take something that goes beyond CGI Ninja's and 20 different boy's love series to make anyone at all want to even watch Chinese media.

Lastly, I want to note that being proven wrong, would be a welcome for me. I would love more anime being released, besides japanese animation, as it can help those learn a little more about the culture and inspire others to get into the field.

Unfortunately for china, this will be harder than it could be, for any other country.

Lastly I'll leave it off with the fact that, god of highschool, tower of god, and trese are from different countries, and did well, all things considered.

trese is a Filipino anime ._. Chinese animation and story, has to improve. Then at least they would have a fanbase in the first place, which goes a long way for anyone looking to make animation.

At the moment, anime from china just isn't enough to entice the average anime viewer.. so I don't see how it would even come close to getting the average Joe to give it a try, which ajin, at least, was able to do.

They should consider dubbing more shows for Netflix.. then I think they have a better chance. I think I explained pretty much exactly what's the problem with Chinese animation, and why it would take a significant amount to get it on the level of even (beastars.. which is also great) let alone arcane.

But when it does : / I'll be one of the first nay sayer to check it out. Because every form of animation, deserves a chance if it's decent.

Youkyu • 2 years ago

also you right. i shouldve said King of Fighters instead. a cgi adaptation of the two stories between Terry and Geese and Kyo and Orochi

Youkyu • 2 years ago

meh Treses kinda felt mid. GoH butchered the story in the anime as well as ToG. And even then GoH lost its steam after Ragnarok. also why does it matter if you like it or not? just watch what you like in the end. its not like you or i are important

Youkyu • 2 years ago

also Link Click is getting a JP dub. I'd be excited if they didnt change the characters names and the OP and ED

Youkyu • 2 years ago

so when is japanese anime gonna be at the level of Fog Hill of Five Elements

Sukehiro Yami • 2 years ago

Dude... I get that you like Chinese anime but wtf is fog hill and five elements?

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Stop trying to claim that media, that isn't popular at all or even close to being on the level of even arcane, is as good as anime.

Beastars and Lotl? you realize those also, aren't very popular right? you couldn't mention ajin instead? ._. which mind you, is the most popular CGI anime produced, isn't on the level of typical anime.

.__. my point is it isn't the fact that any of these series you claim are great, aren't.. it's that no one cares enough about them to watch them or to have heard much about them, unless they're someone who watches beyond japanese media, like myself.

I don't want to hear it ._. Korea made 1... 1 tv series that has no tie to anime, and did better than every single Chinese anime.. that's not exactly good.

Youkyu • 2 years ago

also you do realize that just cuz it isnt popular doesnt mean it isnt good. otherwise 20th Century Boys is considered trash or even moreso Monster

Sukehiro Yami • 2 years ago

I'm pretty sure monster isn't considered trash as an anime, so what's your point there? honestly at this point, you're trying to actually downplay anime into being as low as Chinese anime, because your argument of it being better failed entirely ._.

Unfortunately yes, being popular doesn't mean it's better, but it means people are willing to give it a try.

Your example sucks btw.. i mean mech anime are one of the most popular in Japan, but are generally disliked outside of Asia, yet if you asked any human being would they rather watch a mech, or literally anything Chinese.. in both Asia and the west, the mech anime would win hands down. I saw you said ajin had terrible CGI.... XD thanks, man. You proved that an anime doesn't need great animation to be good..so why is Chinese anime so bad? they have no excuse now all thanks to you.

Lastly, I will leave with the fact that Chinese isn't a very pleasant language ._. Korean, japanese and even German languages are more appealing even in anime format ._.

And lastly.. kingdom.

Kingdom is based in china, yet had a terrible season 2 with god awful animation.

I loved every single season of it ._. that anime was considered the berserk 2016 before berserk 2016.

And one of my favorite anime are Inuyasha... Which is something Chinese anime, so so so wises 99% of their anime were on the quality on, which, no, still wouldn't be enough to get the average person to watch anime ._. I can see you realized it's over, and are getting a bit irritated, so further communication is blocked.

Always remember that anyone is allowed to watch anything that you want, and media can change over time.

But the reputation of a country, will always shape whether or not it's media is taken seriously, let alone allowed into the homes of those who oppose them.. which for China with me so many people, I fear for their civilians.

._. I am not a communist and I'm not really into the political side of the world, and I support anime projects from everyone, such as china.

But yeah :/ basically nobody likes or trust those people to the point of outright disowning people for having their blood.. let alone their media, which is so bad it can't even hit Twitter troll levels of recognition.

Youkyu • 2 years ago

also since when was Inuyasha chinese? it was always japanese

Youkyu • 2 years ago

monster is also not a popular one to the casual mainstream

Youkyu • 2 years ago

ajin good story but their cgi is rather choppy

marteyne • 2 years ago

I switch to mostly watch Chinese anime now, most newer Japanese anime have become kind of boring or dark emotional stuffs which I hate and the most popular Japanese anime have lots of fillers making it draggy. The only ones I am still following are Black Clover and World Trigger. Any good Japanese anime to recommend?

Not sure how many Tier A Chinese anime you have seen. Try these:
1. https://gogoanime.film/cate...
2. https://gogoanime.film/cate...
3. https://gogoanime.film/cate...
4. https://gogoanime.film/cate...

marteyne • 2 years ago

I basically just watch Chinese anime now as Japanese anime is kinda boring now (currently the only Japanese anime I still watching are World Trigger and Black Clover).

Not sure how many Tier A Chinese you've watch but try this https://gogoanime.film/cate..., the translated English is horrible though so I understand if you don't understand the joke.
